Social set

A social set is a bundle of social accounts, usually one per network, that some schedulers price as a unit. ViralSocial connects unlimited accounts instead.

A social set is a bundle of connected social accounts, usually one profile per network, that you manage and publish to as a unit. Schedulers such as Later and Planoly use the social set as their pricing unit: each plan includes a number of sets, and a second Instagram profile needs a second set. Write a post once, pick the accounts in the set, and it publishes to all of them at the same time.

Almost nobody posts to a single network anymore. The same idea goes out to five or six, each with its own format, caption length, and best time to post. A social set treats those accounts as one unit, so you plan in one calendar instead of juggling a browser tab per app and pasting the same caption six times.

It also keeps work separated. A set groups one brand's accounts, so a freelancer can box up a client's profiles on their own, and an agency can keep each client apart with no risk of posting to the wrong brand.

A social set is a bundle of accounts; a workspace is the container that holds accounts along with the calendar, team members, and brand kit. ViralSocial does not bundle accounts into sets. Each workspace connects unlimited social accounts, even several on the same network, so a third Instagram profile is just another connection. You add a workspace only when a brand or client needs its own space.
